Student Engagement has changed to the department of Extended Learning/ALC. We will continue to use the same process created by the Office of School, Family, and Community Engagement for the 2016-2017 school year. This change was made to ensure that we have a fair process for assigning and requesting co-curricular funds.
Schools will be given an amount that corresponds with their school enrollment as of October 1, 2016.
Keep it mind that the funding amount schools receive each year is based on the number of students in ALL of Minneapolis Public Schools. The co-curricular budget remains the same each year, but funds are allocated based on the number of K-5, 6-8, or 9-12 students at each site.
